Open Water Instructor Cindy Prestwood has been diving since 2002 and has already been to such exotic locations as Fiji, Galapagos, Dominica, Hawaii, Panama, Playa del Carmen, the Channel Islands, the Socorro Islands, and Truk Lagoon! Cindy has seen a pregnant manta ray, come face-to-face with a whale shark "the size of a bus", has tickled the underside of a large manta ray, witnessed a school of hammerheads swimming overhead, and did 19 dives on 13 wrecks in one week!

Instructor Glenn Heine has been diving for over 25 years and still jumps at any chance to get in the water! Glenn’s dive trips have taken him to Hawaii, Mexico, Bahamas, Caymans, St. Maarten and the Philippines. He has also dived all the lakes in Maricopa County! His favorite dive spots are Catalina Island, California and Grand Cayman Islands. Glenn enjoys diving with his wife, Malina, and his son, Dustin.

Certified in 1965, Mark Rohde is our most senior dive instructor! He enjoys teaching Open Water classes and a wide variety of specialties, including the Full Face Mask Distinctive Specialty. His favorite type of diving includes “any and all” diving where you can achieve neutral buoyancy! Mark has traveled to Belize, St. Martin, Dominica, Honduras, Monterey, and La Paz. He has also dived the Ringbolt Rapids in the Colorado River! His favorite dive locale is Maria la Gorda, Cuba. Mark leads several dive trips each year – maybe you’ll be lucky enough to join him and his rubber chicken!

Instructor Tom Vetter enjoys teaching certification and specialty courses. His passion for diving began over 15 years ago and in that short time he has been diving in such exotic locales as Fiji, Tahiti, Bonaire, Wakatobi, Cay Sal Banks, Palau, the BVI’s, and Galapagos, where he saw 15 whale sharks in one week! His favorite dive destination is the beautiful, clear waters of the Red Sea where he was able to enjoy his favorite pastime – underwater photography! Ask to see his underwater photos!
