The EFR is a basic training course in first aid and CPR. It is a prerequisite for Stress & Rescue Diver certification but is also recommended for non-divers. Everyone can benefit from the training it provides. The EFR course will prepare participants to deal with most life threatening emergencies. You will learn CPR, Control of Bleeding, Shock Management, Choking, Automated External Defibrillator (AED), and Secondary Care. Hopefully, you will not have to use these skills, but if a loved one or someone you know is in need of help, you will know how to respond.
Become a more confident diver! The Stress & Rescue Diver course can sharpen a diver’s knowledge and skill beyond a purely recreational level. This course is a prerequisite for either the Master Scuba Diver rating and/or leadership training (Dive Control Specialist, AI, or Instructor). The Stress & Rescue Diver is designed to develop the necessary knowledge and skills for divers to perform rescue and assists, prevent and manage diving accident situations, and render first aid.
Join the leaders... The UDT Dive Control Specialist program is the first step on the leadership ladder. This rating is earned by diver’s who have demonstrated a high level of personal diving skill, instructor level knowledge of diving theory, demonstration level training skills to assist Open Water Instructors in confined and open water sessions, and organizational and supervisory skills.
