Truk – June 5-12, 2011

Diving in Truk (Chuuk) Lagoon is an adventure you will never forget. Over 50+ World War II Japanese shipwrecks, often referred to as the “Ghost Fleet”, are scattered across 77 square miles.

These wrecks are treated as museums and are thought of as “an open grave” by the Japanese. The wrecks are fully loaded with artillery, Zeroes, tanks, vehicles, torpedoes, deck guns and more!

The wrecks include destroyers, submarines, cargo ships, planes and transport ships. New wrecks are still being discovered and these wrecks are covered with sea life!

There are over 300 varieties of hard and soft corals. On the outer reef you'll find mountains of coral that stretch as far as the eye can see and drops-off into the abyss.
